The Protectors Of Iceland: Fantasy Creatures Inspired by Icelandic Myths

Norse sagas and steel music go collectively like cheese and pizza. Asgeir Jon Asgeirsson’s work, performed as steel album illustrations for Icelandic steel band Skálmöld’s “Með Vættum,” are good proof.

Asgeir claims inspiration from the Icelandic Heimskringla saga and lyrics written by Snæbjörn Ragnarsson. Whereas I get all giddy writing about all this Norse stuff, I’m additionally impressed by the work. Dragons are a bit overplayed/overused in popculture today, however the different pictures are spectacular and legendary.

I, for one, would by no means have imagined an enormous bull being so epic and legendary. Simply take a look at the magnificent beast!
